A Transnational project meeting (A Kick – off meeting) was held in Vilnius, Lithuania between 19 and 21 July, 2017. The 3-days-long meeting involved a total of 6 participants- 3 per country – the respective project managers, project coordinators and administrative specialists from the two partner organisations.  The meeting enhanced the getting-to-know each other process of the partners and the team members of both organizations discussed the design of future activities including agreement on methods, which will be used during collecting good practices and creating the toolkit. The partners clarified their responsibilities that set the foundation of the partnership agreement that was signed at the meeting including organizational details, activity dates, shared responsibilities and duties, instruments for communication within the team as well as promotion and dissemination of project results strategies. The organizations and the team debated and agreed on a Quality Control Team and Quality Plan – standards, time-line, methodology, tools and the allocation of resources as well as on Risk Mitigation Monitoring and Management plan – risk identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring and reporting.

The kick-off meeting started with afternoon session (ice-breaking – in order to facilitate the future collaboration between both organizations), welcome dinner and time to get to know each other on 19/07/2017. On the second day, activities have started in Vilniaus kolegija / University of Applied Sciences, Vilnius Lithuania, as follows: 1. Presentation of partner organizations and their activities. 2. Project coordinator has presented all project activities foreseen in the project application; 3. Both organizations (P1 and P2) worked together and completed the following activities: 3.1 All parties engaged with their project responsibilities and duties according to the partnership agreement; 3.2 All parties agreed upon desk-research methods and other methods, which will be used during collection of good practices and creation of the online platform and the toolkit; 3.3 All parties agreed upon organizational details, activity dates, shared responsibilities, promotion and dissemination of project results; 3.4 All parties agreed upon instruments of communication; 3.5 All parties created and agreed upon Quality Control Team and Quality Plan – standards, time-line, methodology, tools and the allocation of resources; 3.6 All parties elaborated and agreed upon Risk Mitigation Monitoring and Management plan – risk identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring and reporting; 3.7 All parties created and agreed upon standardized month planner for Task management. 3.8 The partnership agreement was signed. On the third day of the activities, 21 July 2017, a wrap-up session was held, summarizing the discussed activities during the previous days. The partners departed. The Kick-off meeting was very successful, all partners participated actively.
